Review of Howard the Duck (1986) by Jamie K — 03 Apr 2009

I'm not giving this a star rating for fear of persecution (yes, persecution. not prosecution.) It was one of the most, if not THE most critically panned movie of all time and it has the box office numbers to prove it. But I do remember being enthralled by this movie when it came to theaters in Manila. Maybe it was the fact that I was 8 and that it was free during those oh so wonderful occasions when my older sister would have me tag along during her day long quests to find the perfect pair of shoes.
