Review of Howard the Duck (1986) by Travis C — 01 Aug 2009
Bad acting. Bad dialog. Bad idea for a movie. Hits nearly every cliche of a "person from out of this world" movie, and doesn't seem to care it's doing so. Just because Lucas had his name of this flop doesn't mean it's worth watching.
In fact, because this movie failed so hard in the box office, George Lucas had to sell his CGI department on Skywalker Ranch (which is now Pixar, so it's not that bad of a deal) because of the major loss of money.
If it's on TV and you have ABSOLUTELY nothing better to do (I mean nothing at all), sitting through it wouldn't be the worst decision of your life. Maybe second worst.
