Wow! Hadn't seen this since it's release in 1986. I remember the upror and the fact that George Lucas and the writing team for the great American Graffitti were involved! Insane film about an alien duck that crashes on earth and falls in love with Lea Thompson and here comically huge 80's crimped hair.
(Interspecies erotica?) Future oscar winner Tim Robbins is actually kind of awesome in this as a nerdy scientist and Jeffrey Jones as a posessed scientist is entertaining. One of the biggest problems besides the whole creepy love angle is that Howard is really fucking annoying.
