Had fond memories as a kid so bit biased in my reveiw. its a good fun flick but who the hell were they selling it to??? You would have thought they would have gone for a younger audience with its goofy comedy and comedic action set peices scary b movie villian (jones is excellent by the way!!). heck the lead character looks made for kids films!! but then....playduck?? duck condoms, in the first 10 mins u see a female duck with there boobs out!! wtf?? then the weird understanding that lea thompson seems to want to sleep with howard!! what!!!
If they had just sold this as a kids action film it wouldnt have flopped so badly. because it has all the ingrediants for a family blockbuster imo.
