I can understand why people hate it, but here in Hunger City, Lea Thompson is a grunge metal rocker chick surrounded by red plastic and neon lights, a hoodie-wearing alien duck, quack fu, space rabies, Cajun sushi, laser spectroscopes, a police chase involving ultralight aircraft, and exasperation at the plans for world takeover by an electrokinetic demon scorpion Dark Overlord of the Universe inhabiting the body of an astrophysicist.
'You know, hostility is like a psychic boomerang!'.
