Review of Howard the Duck (1986) by Alexander Z — 27 Jul 2011
One of the famous failures of the 80s, and with good reason. There's so much wrong here it's hard to know where to begin. Whether it's the titular character's terrible costume, the acting, the plot, the humor, the dialogue, there's not many, if any redeeming features here.
Unlike other similar silly movies, this one doesn't work on a camp level. It's too stupid. But hey, the monster design at the end was pretty cool.
