Review of Howard the Duck (1986) by Danny G — 05 Aug 2014
It's the gift that keeps on giving. Every time I think the film is over, Huyck proves me wrong and pushes the plot out even further from its flimsy core. The plot is already a stretch, but the lack of a progressive, engaging storyline along with likable, relatable characters are where the film truly suffers. Everything about "Howard the Duck" was done so wrong, so little, and so very cheap.
Sorry, George Lucas, but you need to put this one in the loser column.
