Review of Howard the Duck (1986) by Ronilson A — 18 Aug 2010
It's no wonder not a lot of people enjoyed it. They had no idea that it's based on the comic books. Well, let me tell you, Lea Thompson was terrific and the reason why I enjoyed this movie. It also follows the comics very well, but doesn't overdo it, though.
This movie is the first movie that got me into the comics and is one of my all-time favorites. Did I mention that Lea does her own singing as well? Personally, I prefer Howard the Duck over that stupid wimp ALF anyday.
