Review of Howard the Duck (1986) by Ken S — 14 Jan 2012

I kind of liked this when I was a kid. I can't for the life of me see why now. It has a bad script filled with lame dialogue, bad jokes (delivered poorly by the actors), constant duck puns, with an incoherent plot, and it is constantly teasing us with the hope that Lea Thompson is gonna bang that duck.

Sadly she never does. Jeffrey Jones turning into the creepy dark overlord scared the shit out of my brother when we were kids. On the upside, it can be entertaining to watch for laughs at the film's expense, and Lea Thompson looks pretty smokin' in this one, you even get her looking quite sexy in some panties and this little night shirt.

That might not be a legitimate reason to watch this movie though.
