Wish I could say more, but this movie just wasn't good. I've read the books, watched the first movie around 42 times, the second around 6, and have seen both tv series. I'm a huge fan of the HtTYD series, and that's why this hurts me so much.
The movie is visually stunning, and John Powell's soundtrack work salvaged it for me.
The plot is incredibly forced, and emotionally draining with how unsatisfactory this movie is.
I'd never expect something so generic and predictable from Dreamworks, but here we are.
