Review of How to Train Your Dragon (2010) by Lee O — 01 Nov 2014

Very, very good. Yes, the story is predictable and yes the characters and your stereotypical range of characters but the lead character is fun to be with, and the 3D (dare I say it) was natural, not showy, not constantly drawing attention to itself - just immersive and effective. Genuinely tense, moving and funny.

Edit: It is over four years since the first viewing (and the review above) and after seeing it countless more times, it more than stands up. A family favourite and the best Dreamworks film for certain.
