Review of How to Train Your Dragon (2010) by Shaun V — 07 May 2013

A movie about how a violent society comes to realize that violence is not always the answer and that being different than the norm has it's own rewards. Throw in some daddy issues and it's hard to find a dry eye among the crowd.

Is it just me or is such quality story telling and originality, granted there are some tired themes in this particular movie, mostly dominated by animated films nowadays while everywhere else remakes, book/comic book adaptations, and sequels litter the market? Regardless dreamworks is catching up to the greatness of Pixar which seems to be an animation battle that pushes both companions to achieve more each year.
