Review of How to Train Your Dragon (2010) by Sharon L — 15 Jul 2013
An magical flight through the wondrous mystique of folklore and modern animation technology, this wonderfully paced and beautifully told story speaks to both young and older ages alike; giving off fantastic flight sequences, an breathtaking score, fun and interesting characters and brandishing new and unattempted feats in modern animation technology that keep its audiences and critics begging for more.
Though, if there had to be said one flaw in the film, it would have to be its simplistic/stereotypical characters, that though different by nature still seem to be reminisce of some simple plot structure.
However, this flaw nonetheless, ends up being an absolute compliment to the storytelling and its child-friendly aspect, giving a new way to look at these scenarios and adventures which they find themselves thrown into.
Thus, despite character dynamics, Dreamwork's, How To Train Your Dragon's new breathtaking achievements in animation and satisfying and rather heartwarming story, is a certified Fresh!
