How to Train Your Dragon is a great animated film. It is perfectly paced, well executed, and clever. The voice cast is really good and the animation is stunning. It was emotional and interesting. It has a good story and character development.
Even though the themes in the film are familiar, they are well executed. This is a thrilling and enjoyable movie for all ages. What could have easily been a cash grab using cliché storylines was made with such care, that the movie rose to greatness.
How to Train Your Dragon gets 4/5 stars (B+).
