Review of How to Train Your Dragon 2 (2014) by Sujay H — 01 Dec 2014

I really enjoyed the first movie. This unfortunately fell into the typical generic tropes of the usual animations. Was quite disappointing. The plot in terms of a story idea involves the viking crew exploring the world, which sounds great, but eventually everything becomes generic and unnecessary.

Seriously left me with a feeling of what was the point. The characters this time round have very superficial development. Especially with this one scene that should have had more serious emotional repercussions but was resolved in like five mins.

The comedy aspect was non existent. Well lets just say you have seen all the jokes before. The CG was probably the best thing about this movie, but it wasn't mind blowing. You won't be missing much if you avoid this.
