HTTYD2 is everything a sequel should be. It builds on the first film, without strictly following the "bigger/better/more more more" method of many sequels. I was also blown away by how this movie was able to not be super predictable, and keep my wondering "if the main characters were going to accomplish their goals, instead of the typical "how".

This sequel is also a self contained story, yet sets up a 3rd film to tell a different and interesting story, but not in a gratuitous way. This is not even to mention the GORGEOUS animation.
