Review of How to Train Your Dragon 2 (2014) by Jacob B — 23 Sep 2017
With some of DreamWorks' most breathtaking animation yet as well as a solid mix of exciting action sequences, mood-lightening humour and sad moments, How to Train Your Dragon 2 is on par, if not superior to, its predecessor.
As well as one of the best films of 2014 and the best animated film of the aforementioned year alongside The Lego Movie. And one of DreamWorks' best as well. I really enjoyed this movie, shut up. For a sequel that everyone loved which was a box office success, this movie seems to have been forgotten quickly.
No matter, the third movie is still coming soon. I don't really have much to say about this sequel. Just that it was a really amazing movie, that's all. Shame I can't be bothered to watch the Cartoon Network and later Netflix series since about 90% of the Netflix/DreamWorks shows look like cash grabs and I stopped watching Nickelodeon 2 years ago.
Ah well, at least I've learned to be patient. When the third movie arrives, it'll have arrived. Interesting plot, characters and story make this movie good. Could I be more blatant about how spectacular this movie was? Let's hope the third movie remains as great as the first two.
