How To Train Your Dragon 2, although sad, exceeded my expectations at becoming an amazing sequel. It not only showed a great change in terms of story, but a great change in the characters. The characters acted more mature, but still kept the same attitude that was very well left behind from the first How To Train Your Dragon.
My recommendation is to take the whole family to see this, and if not the family, then those who are still in touch with their child at heart.
