Review of How to Train Your Dragon 2 (2014) by Spencer K — 11 Jul 2015

This is how you make a sequel! How To Train Your Dragon 2 was not what I was expecting. and I say that in the best possible way I can think of. this movie destroyed my expectations and soared extremely high above them.

I really loved the first film and this one just blew it away. I didn't know what I was getting into what I say in the theater and watched this, but wow I'm glad I did. it's emotional, action packed, colorful, gorgeously animated, exciting, adventurous and full of wonder.

a truly stellar animated film that stands high with the ranks of Pixar's best and could easily stand next to Toy Story or Finding Nemo. a brilliant family film that everybody will adore. one of the best animated films I've ever seen.
