Review of How to Survive a Plague (2012) by Graham B — 12 Feb 2013
Fascinating and moving film documenting the ACT-UP and TAG's fight with the FDA and drug companies to accelerate research into AIDS drugs and get them released.
Made up of extensive archive footage combined with first person narrative, this is a compelling documentary, exceptional storytelling and very worthy of your time.
A good companion piece to another documentary, We Were There as well as the play The Normal Heart by Larry Kramer, who features in this film.
