Three beautiful dames (Lauren Bacall, Marilyn Monroe, Betty Grable) move into a swanky New York apartment in search of rich husbands ("All my life I've had the same dream...to marry a zillionaire") with unexpected results.
The three women - and their stunning costumes - are at their loveliest, as is New York itself. Bacall runs the show, but Monroe's gift for comedy and flawless timing are a surprise and a delight.
