Review of How to Marry a Millionaire (1953) by Kseniya F — 24 Aug 2010
I thoroughly enjoyed this. Each of the leads brings their own inimitable charms to their roles, and play to their strengths. Monroe is sublime as ditzy Pola and Bacall puts in a performance of understated poignancy as Shatze.
I'd never seen Grable in a film before so didn't know what to expect but she was funny as Loco, particularly the scene at the lodge.
