Review of How to Make Money Selling Drugs (2012) by Carla J — 29 Jun 2013
Finally, a documentary about the drug industry that deals with its subject matter the correct way. How To Make Money Selling Drugs shows you why people start selling drugs in the first place, how they get started, and how they climb up to the very top of that business.
The film presents all sides of the story, from hood dealers to suburban white dealers, how to sell weed, cocaine, crack and heroin; how the DEA works, how lawyers work, how drug dealers protect themselves from the cops and how cops plant drugs on dealers just to make a bust.
The film also points out that there is an industry of fully legal drugs, medications, pills you can buy at every pharmacy, which are as strong and addictive as any type of crack you can get on the street, as well as the highly profitable prison system, which benefits from strict drug laws.
50 Cent, Susan Sarandon and Eminem share their experiences as a dealer, activist and druggie, as well as other experienced lawyers and former cops. To summarize: the war on drugs in incredible aggressive but equally useless, and if people want drugs, they will always find a way to get drugs.
Definitely a must-see documentary.
