Review of How to Make an American Quilt (1995) by Liz S — 15 Mar 2009
This is one of those stories of strong, smart, beautiful women overcoming overwhelming odds and coming out grossly intact...
There are a lot of movies in this genre, and I dont generally enjoy them, as I'm not a raging, unshaven, bra-burning feminist, and I generally feel that they r whingey drivvle that is a waste of my time...
This one is a wonderful story, which is beautifully told and acted...
The only thing separating it from a 3.5 is Winona Ryder and her painful painful painful voice.
