Review of How to Lose Friends & Alienate People (2008) by Micky T — 27 Jul 2009
While "How to Lose Friends" doesn't begin to offer the same biting commentary as the nonfiction book on which it is based, it does manage to turn a memoir without a strong central story into a film with a clear dramatic arc.
It's an amusing movie, not complex, smart, or outright funny, but it tries hard, and Simon Pegg makes the most of the material he's given.
