A journalist at a small magazine who reports on celebrities gets a job at a big New York magazine after a stunt he pulled at a celebrity party. He doesnt fit in with the New York crowd because of his candidness and his desire not to suck up to anyone, but starts to change with his desire to be with the "in" crowd.
Some funny stuff (because its Simon Pegg) and he plays "Ace of Spades" on vinyl, but I think this would be more enjoyed by those who liked Devil Wears Prada.
