I thought this looked awful and gave it a wide berth when it came out but as it was on TV a gave it a look.

Wasn't nearly as bad as I thought and made me laugh a few times. Unfortunately it seems to be exactly the kind of glossy Hollywood schmooze that the film is attempting to lampoon. Even Pegg seems like he's trying to be Mr Bean in an attempt to enhance his Hollywood profile. This could have been a lot darker, witty & satirical it is not, but as a romcom it's not bad.
