Review of How to Lose Friends & Alienate People (2008) by Ben F — 26 Nov 2012
Aside from a few very funny moments I find myself wondering why the hell any of the talent in this film (Pegg, Anderson, Bridges and at a push Dunst) signed up for this mess.
Gillian Anderson is very good in a role that is very different to Scully or her part in Bleak House, Pegg is basically slummng it for a chance to get near Dunst and Fox (can't entirely blame him - though Megan Fox gets worse with each performance) and Jeff Bridges is clearly being blackmailed by someone in doing this.
Not the worst comedy ever but seriosuly not worth paying to see. Wait till it's on Film4 or something.
