Review of How to Get Ahead in Advertising (1989) by Charlie K — 05 Oct 2007
It's a boil, not a pimple. The movie ends with Dennis' boil (who has replaced Dennis by taking the place where Dennis' head would, under normal circumstances, have been) riding Dennis' body on a horse to the top of a high hill, climbing onto a cairn, spreading his arms and, silhouetted against a glorious sunset, proclaiming to the citizens of the world that they will drive cars and eat packaged food with M.
S.G. and hydrolysed protein and use transnationally brand-named toothpaste because, by God, he's going to sell it all to them - all this to Holst's Jupiter, the bringer of Jollility.
