Review of How to Get Ahead in Advertising (1989) by Jonathan G — 04 Nov 2011
Working on a pimple cream, a successful advertisement copywriter suddenly starts to feel pains of remorse, which is in dire contradiction with his work duties. He develops split personality in a form of a boil on his neck; in the course of the disease the boil replaces his head.
The beginning of the movie is witty, humorous, satiric, and hugely better than what happens after the rude and ugly boil takes over.
