Mandy Moore did an o.k. job with a bad script. The fact that she reminded me of my first love was maybe the only thing keeping me watching through the trite and cramped storyline complications, but it also kind of upset me that a smart girl like her character ended up with the stereotypical unintelligent rebellious bad boy.
