Review of How to Deal (2003) by Helen C — 17 Oct 2008
At first I had no interest in seeing this movie. But the storyline and Mandy Moore's character is what caught my interest...mainly 'cause I more or less had the same view on love as she did. I liked the movie up until towards the end when she deals with the fact that she's fallen for a guy and he professes his love for her.
The cheese and cornballs of it all killed it for me right there. But then again, I guess that's the whole point of the movie. Still, it was enjoyable to watch and relate on some level with the character.
