Review of How to Be Single (2016) by Cynthia W — 25 May 2016
Yet another female orientated comedy which is reliant on the obnoxious actions of an overweight actress for supposed laughs, this time it's not Melissa McCarthy but Rebel Wilson charged with finding humour in an insipid script.
This is not a criticism of larger ladies but of the cynical way that they have been used since 'Bridesmaids' in this kind of picture. An unfunny, offensive and also purposeless film.
