Jim Carrey steals the show in this film. Unfortunately that is seems to be all this film has going for it. Jim Carrey was obviously born to play the role of the Grinch, but I am less confident that Ron Howard was the one born to direct this film.
This film is enjoyable and funny to all ages, but unfortunately does not quite measure up to it's cartoon predecessor.
