Review of How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000) by Matt M — 07 Apr 2013
The familiar Dr. Seuss tale about the Grinch who hates Christmas and has a plan of stealing the presents of the inhabitants of the coloured candy town of Whoville on Christmas eve. Jim Carrey is almost unrecognisable as the green creature, though his mimic is unmistakable.
But while the film looks nice, it is overwhelming, and too scary for children, which one would suspect as its target audience.
