There are far too many anuses in this film. Don't get me wrong, anuses are a part of life and everything. But somehow anuses don't fit in the Seussian universe quite as nicely as Ron Howard and Jim Carrey seem to think they do.

I wonder, in fact, if Dr Seuss ever thought about anuses when he wrote the book, or if Chuck Jones or Boris Karloff ever thought about including some anuses in the beloved animated version. I'm certainly glad that Ron Howard corrected this oversight by including plenty of anuses in this preposterous big-budget version of the holiday favorite.
