Jim Carrey's excellent performance can't save this humorless, soulless adaptation of the Dr. Seuss masterpiece. 98% of all jokes fall flat on their face, and the brilliant art design is undercut by creepy make up and unlikable characterizations.
One of Ron Howard's absolute worse.
