I just don't get why so many people call this a Christmas classic. The jokes and innuendos are more intended for adults, and definitely not for kids. When you put adult humor in a children's book-to-movie adaptation it just makes it more childish.

The whos look scary as hell and none of them look like they want to be in this film. I won't bash Jim Carrey too much because at least he put an effort into his physical comedy under all that makeup.

That's hard to pull off. But anyway, this movie was unnecessary.
