Admittedly, the main reason why I initially saw this film was the prospect of seeing the lovely Angela Bassett as eye-candy - and in that regard, 'Stella' exceeded expectations (Angela looked fabulous, indeed).
As for the rest of 'Stella', I liked it a lot. It can easily be dismissed as a glossy and lightweight middle-aged-woman's fantasy - but it was never dull, looked great, made me laugh (especially Whoopi Goldberg's unforgettable relationship advice) and moved me.
