Just about managed to get myself through this. I skipped some parts where it is just useless talking trying to develop characters that are just so one note it actually hurts the actors in my eyes. It just about does enough to keep me watching, but I won't be watching again.
The ending is just like the film. Here and gone in a puff of smoke. The saving grace was the environment created, where we could really get a look at some of the details this apocalyptic world has generated.
Also, with a wall blown off of your apartment, in a huge smoke and fire cloud... I'm sorry buddy but there is no ex machina great enough to save a pregnant lady sitting on her sofa in a baggy jumper.
It's just not possible, especially when 30 miles away people are cooked to death in their cars, but little miss has a jumper and glass windows to protect her. Seems legit. Watch if you are bored and a real fan of the imaginations of others when it comes to apocalyptic one trick wonders.
This one won't stick with me.
