Where do I start.

I saw the trailer and thought .... ok and I'm curious ....what disaster. What would it be.

The acting is average, there's no oscars here.

Basics..... Guy and Father-in-law (to be) go on a road trip across america following a disaster on the west coast that endangers the daughter/girlfriend. The road trip is full of people trying to kill them, screw them over and some alliances. The disaster is unknown as it takes out all comms.

You never find out what the disaster actually is but I would say.. something geological (citing ash, unbreathable air, a destroyed city, tremors and big pyrocastic cloud).

The road trip is average, the standard typical crap, the steriotype ....the moment Americans think there's no law around.... basic anarchy.

So my curiousity got the better of me, average film but the end, oh man, the ending was like the writers or director just gave up.

One of the worst endings to a film I've every seen.

Avoid this film.
