Review of How Green Was My Valley (1941) by Jon D — 16 May 2010
Although very romantisised, this film (based on the incredible book by Richard Llewellyn), is a cinematic delight. Filled with intense performances, strong characters and a loveable charm, How Green Was My Valley won five Oscars (and deservedly so)!
A romantic film with no smut, violence or bad language, this movie is clean entertainment, and is guarenteed to break even the hardest of hearts.
