Definitely had some funny moments, but it helps if you're a fan of the cast involved. A little more sap that comedy, but it's more enjoyable than most films of this ilk. I love Paul Rudd, Jack Nicholson and am partial to Owen Wilson, so I think I'd have watched this regardless.
Simple breakdown: Owen Wilson is the dumb jock who's actually fairly honest about how clueless he is about relationship things; Paul Rudd is the super sweet businessman who's world is crumbling around him, Reese Witherspoon is the female jock who just got cut and is having her world crumble too, so she has to decide who's better.
Jack is Paul Rudd's dad, with some funny stuff. Light laughs, but not much thinking needed.
