This was a frustratingly bad film. What made it so disappointing was the pedigree of the people involved--but I think most of the blame needs to land on James Brooks for his script and direction. This was not cute, not fun, the characters weren't likeable or engaging; basically anything that makes a romantic comedy work was missing here.
