How do you know when you have a bad movie? When you have two talented funny guys and 2 oscar winners and throw them into a movie with a script written by an 8 year old. My darling, Reese Witherspoon, spends the movie going back and forth trying to choose between Owen Wilson and Paul Rudd.
Both characters are losers in my opinion and I think she deserves better. Doesn't matter who she ends up with because by the end of the movie, you're just plain bored. Add in Jack Nicholson, another one of my favorites who is in only one scene with Reese and they don't even have any dialogue together.
It's supposed to be a romantic comedy but I didn't find much to like about this film. Hard to believe this is from the same guy that did Terms of Endearment, As Good As It Gets, and Broadcast News.
