It's hard to believe that the writer-director of "Terms of Endearment" and "As Good As it Gets" could come up with something that is as simple and bland as this. The script really hits you over the head with what you are supposed to feel towards certain characters.
Yet, I enjoyed watching this. Why? Well, I like Reese Witherspoon; I Like Owen Wilson; and I like Paul Rudd. And as some of you may know, I have a soft spot for romantic comedies no matter how bland they are sometimes.
