Review of Housesitter (1992) by Bob V — 20 Jul 2011
Classic romantic comedy that draws heavily on the comedic talents of Martin & Hawn, and of their differing approaches to comedy. While I never much cared for Martin's acting, I admit that when he is cast well, he gets the job done.
The combination with Hawn werks perfectly, and even though the plot itself quickly careens off into nonsense, they manage to hold it together until the suitably sappy ending.
