Review of Housefull (2010) by Imran M — 08 May 2010
This is a fultoo timepass flick. Doesn't have a semblance of a script and the story is downright crap but at the end of it all, it leaves you with a thoroughly satisfied feeling and asmile on your face.
First the good, it's a slapstick comedy (and when I say slapstick, the shtick in this farce is literally everyone slapping each other. There is great item number with Jacqueline Fernandez and Deepika is as usual (in all her glory) and the music is good (not great but good).
But the piece de resistance of this flick is Riteish Deshmukh and his perfect timing (along with the chemistry with Lara Dutta). Akshay Kumar is lacklustre (and looks bored) whereas Boman is funny. All in all a barrel of laughs (provided you leave your brains at home, strictly speaking).
