Review of Housebound (2000) by Cole E — 28 Mar 2015
"Housebound" has a slow and bland beginning, but it all leads up to a very satisfying end. And I have to applaud Gerard Johnstone for destroying the modern horror cliches by showing the start of nearly every overused jump scare, abandoning it, then creating an additional scare later.
It's about time a horror filmmaker had the balls to do something original.
