Review of Housebound (2000) by Jesse V — 06 Sep 2015
Too flat to be horror, not funny enough to be comedy so as a horror-comedy it's an utter failure. It was made more all the more aggravating since the makers apparently had no concept of volume control which had me reaching for the remote whenever anyone was trying to speak so I had to adjust the volume to hear what anyone was saying or go deaf.
It's still better than most of the rubbish produced today but that's not saying much. Not sure what the hype's about, this movie is depressingly overrated.
